Momentum

“Most of life is routine – dull and grubby, but routine is the momentum that keeps a man going. If you wait for inspiration you’ll be standing on the corner after the parade is a mile down the street.” –Ben Nicholas

To continue the path of transformation, one must make it routine. Be sure to note your accomplishments and things done right. Let this be your motivation to keep going and never losing momentum

Assimilate

You are a product of your environment, so make an environment that will make you who you want to be. If you have an image in mind of whom you want to be, it’s important that you shape your surrounding environment to foster growth of that vision. That means hanging out or staying away from certain friends or family members, having your goals in plain view, or even having your surroundings clutter free. Adjust your environment and conform it to your vision.

Teaching

“Good teaching is one-fourth preparation and three-fourths theater.”  ~Gail Godwin

You are the teacher! I believe it’s important when dealing with personal transformation to not only prepare for what you want to change but to also remember that you must be inspired to do so.

I

I believe this is self-explanatory. If you want to change, you must be ready every day to work on that change. As Michael Jordan once said, “There is no I in team, but there is in win.”

Optimism

“One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.” ~Lucille Ball

Never (quit)

Success is found in the pursuit. It is found in persistence. Never give up on yourself, even when you feel like you can’t make it.
